PACE Coaching sessions - Northern Rivers region

Golf Croquet coaching sessions for players in the Northern Rivers region were held in Byron Bay, on Saturday 12 July.
Kate McLoughlin, NSW Coaching Co-ordinator and Peter Freer, experienced coach and referee conducted the sessions which reached 48 players from Byron Bay, Ballina, Ballina Cherry Street, Lismore.
The sessions are part of the PACE coaching series currently available for clubs around the state.
The Foundation Golf Croquet session covers:

Positional play

Hoop running

Clearances

Rules Refresher

Block shots
Additional elements including jump shots, strategies around placement and clearance shots can be incorporated.
Response has been positive, as this program, and sessions on more advanced Talent Level play have been held at Coutts Crossing, Sawtell, Nowra, Parkes and Port Macquarie.
