World Croquet Day:  promoting Croquet


First Saturday of May

We invite clubs across NSW and ACT to initiate a 'Welcome to the World of Croquet' campaign at their club. There are a range of options; here are a few ideas.

  • Come n Try Croquet session.
  • Corporate Croquet Competition.
  • Bring a friend to Croquet.

Some suggested outlines for running the event:

  • Fun activities to involve groups, with prizes for participants, free lessons, etc.
  • Catering options: Croquet afternoon tea or barbecues.
  • A competition for the best 10 Come n Try Croquet photos.
  • Ye Olde Afternoon Tea with Croquet.
  • Approach your local Council to set up Croquet on the Village Green; perhaps Market Day, or Picnic Races?

CNSW will:

  • Supply brochure artwork for Clubs to personalise. Visit our Promotional Material page.
  • Provide croquet banners for clubs without one.
  • Promote the event using social media websites, and other promotional channels.
