Becoming a COACH

Follow these steps to become a coach!

 
  1.  Fill out the Coach Application Form
  2.  Get your Club to support your application.
  3.  Ensure you have a:
    a.  Working with Children Check (NSW); or
    b.  Working with Vulnerable People Check (ACT)
  4.  Complete the Community Coaching Essential Skills online course.

Please send your completed Application Form to:

  • We will find a Coach Assessor in your region to accredit you with a practical face to face course lasting about 2 hours.
    You will receive a printed manual for the course.
  • If you think you’ve already got pre-existing experience and knowledge to become a coach, you can use the form to apply for a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
  • Your accreditation lasts 4 years; you will receive a reminder to apply for re-accreditation, which can normally done by email.
