Nominations Committee Chairperson
We have recently opened an expression of interest for the vacant role of Nominations Committee Chairperson which has been advertised on various platforms including Clearing House for Sport, LinkedIn and Sportspeople. In accordance with the Terms of Reference, the NCC should be independent. I am pleased to advise the appointed members of the Nominations Committee are confirmed as Liz Friend and Max Kewish.
Applications close for the Chairperson vacancy on 11 September.

Once a preferred candidate has been appointed by the board, the 3-member Committee will immediately commence the recruitment process to fill a minimum of two (2) vacant director roles on the board of Croquet Australia. This is a critical period to ensure Croquet Australia meets the compliance guidelines set down by the Australian Sports Commission to meet the minimum requirement of seven (7) directors.
Croquet Victoria - Accommodation Special Offer

We understand many players attending the up-coming GC Carnival at Cairnlea may have already booked accommodation for the event, but if any Gold Medal, Singles or ISS players are still looking, this partnership discount offer represents an approximate 25% discount off normal room rates.
The Special Offer Details:
A part of the agreement is discounted accommodation for players and attendees across the coming year.
Below are the discounted rates and method of booking:
- Studio Apartments $150 per apartment, per night (do not have laundry facilities however, we do have a communal laundry).
- One Bedroom $195 per apartment, per night.
- Two Bedroom $220 per apartment per night.
Players can call or email Quest Watergardens directly and mention 'CROQUET'' to receive the above rates.
