Alison Sharpe wins NSW Women's AC Singles Championship in close tussle with Rosie Landrebe

The NSW AC Women's Singles was contested at CNSW HQ, MacKey Park, Tempe, Sydney : 24 - 26 May.
A strong field of 12 included, past champions: Alison Sharpe and Rosie Landrebe, top ranked Victorian: Tricia Devlin, top ranked, Queenslander: Kathie Grant. These players formed the final four, with Alison and Rosie taking the final to 3 games: 26-0, 11-26, 26-19 in an exciting finish. Tricia Devlin prevailed for third. Julie Toms (Canberra ) defeated Joanne Brown (Cammeray) for the Y-final - 5th and 6th place. And Di Scott defeated Nerida Taylor in the W Final.
John Stokes took some great photos, and all players took a little bit of Tempe green home from the newly sprayed lawns.
