2026 NSW Gateball Doubles championship
Published Sun 25 Oct 2026
Nowra Croquet club hosted the NSW State Gateball Doubles and Teams championship, celebrating 30 years of Gateball in NSW.
Players from Canberra, Newcastle, Toronto, Strathfield, Nowra, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria competed.
It was particularly pleasing to welcome members of the newly appointed National Gateball Management committee that all attended.
It is 20 years since the first state tournament. This year 13 doubles team entered this very competitive event.
I would like to note this was Glen's eighth time winning, and Kristina’s seventh.
🥇 Canberra Green
🥈 MBWWB (Warrnambool, Woodville and Moreton Bay)
I would like to thank the wonderful Nowra Croquet Club members who made the day so successful. The tournament would not have run as smoothly without their ongoing support. Special Thank you to Manuel and Glenda Gutierrez who organised everything. Thank you to the fantastic members that assisted with the wonderful food available every day. To the members that helped on the lawn thank you. Hope you all enjoyed the games.
