Report by Fidye Westgarth, Tournament Manager

The 2025 NSW AC Women’s Open Singles Championship was held at Mosman Croquet Club 23-25 May in a mixture of torrid wet and then glistening perfect weather. Nine of our top NSW women players entered the tournament.

Winner was Alison Sharpe, who won every game, pegging out well before time. Rosie Landrebe and Joanne Brown were strong contenders for the next place, with Rosie awarded Runner-up on count-back.
The other contenders payed strong and challenging games. Special mention goes to Roberta Flint who punched well above her handicap level to take 4th place in the Championship.

CNSW was grateful to Mosman Croquet Club who hosted the event with enthusiasm.
MCC was grateful for the support provided by CNSW Tournaments assisting with a guiding timeline for bringing our lawns to their best ever.

Congratulations to Alison Sharpe, our 2025 AC Women’s Open Singles Champion!
