Division 2 Finals

Hosted by Toronto Club on 4-5 October 2025

Teams from Coogee, Newcastle, Elanora and Queanbeyan clubs competed.

Congratulations to the winners - Coogee. 
The Coogee team players were Michael Bournazos, Mike Martin, Trevor Zabow, Colum Hughes, Mary Fletcher (Manager), Stephen Rose, Val Lloyd. 
Robert King also played for this team during the zone phase of the competition. 

The Elanora team were Runners-Up.

 Coogee Croquet Club, unassumedly nestled close to the sea in a beautiful location and flanked by tall trees, achieved something extraordinary this month: it was crowned Division 2 State Champion. 10-days later, its Division 3 team was State Runner Up.
This, after gruelling competition over many months involving numerous clubs, and with finals played in early October.

A remarkable achievement for this quaint 75 year old club run entirely by its members on a voluntary basis.
The club house is beautiful sandstone and looks and feels historic.
In addition to the Club’s competitive spirit and recent achievements, it provides a wonderful social outlet for those wanting to play less competitively.
