Coach Re-accreditation Information
Published Mon 02 Dec 2024
Coach Re-accreditation
Coaching re-accreditation is coming up for many coaches around the state, as it is 4 years since Gregy Bury and Barb Piggott rolled out the Coaching Accreditation framework.
Coaches will receive a reminder 60 days before their accreditation has expired. We have just updated the letter to clarify what is required to be re-accredited.
What do I need to do to be re-accredited?
- You are required to accumulate 30 points over 4 years (1 point = 1 hour of coaching).
- Points towards coaching accreditation can be accumulated across codes and count for each code.
- The Community Coaching Essential Skills Course which Croquet Australia has asked all coaches to complete, counts for 5 points and as a workshop.
- Coaching hours can include informal activities such as skill development, mentoring, feedback sessions and the like.
- An extension of one year can be granted where coaches would like to continue to contribute but have not been able to accumulate enough points.
- Check your coaching accreditation status online by logging onto your membership record through Member Login on the CNSW website, or your club portal.
